Food & Clothing
People in Mesopotamia usually eat twice a day. But for the rich they ate a lot of bread and drank 1 gallon of beer per day. Meat was very expensive before so they usually they eat vegetable stews. They also ate fruits like apples, pears, grapes, etc. They also ate cakes on occasions made butter, cheese, dates, flour and raisins. Fish was an important food because it has a very high protein. They also eat fruit like apples, pears, grapes and figs.
Clothing in Mesopotamia was made out of resources that were available. One of the resources they use flax and flax was useful for making wool. They also used dyes to make the clothes more colorful. But most of the time, it only happens to rich people. But usually, both rich and poor people wore the same thing. Men usually skirt-like garments that tied at the chest. They were usually cleanly shaved or had long hair and a beard. Women usually a gown but the right arm and shoulder were uncovered. They usually had long hair and braided it. But still, rich people have more jewelry and better clothes. Princesses and other important people wear very colorful clothes and wears many jewelry. Gold and silver usually. The clothing in Mesopotamia is very different from others, ignoring the fact of wearing jewelry.
